Kaylynn Cairns, originally from Pickford, MI, has spent her career in education — from early childhood through post-secondary — with a focus on program management, community collaboration, and supporting underserved populations. Her experience includes extensive work with tribal communities across Michigan.

A Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician with Safe Kids Worldwide, Kaylynn holds a bachelor’s degree from Aquinas College in Community Leadership, Political Science, and Business, and pursued post-baccalaureate studies in Community and Economic Development at Penn State.

Outside of work, Kaylynn enjoys spending time with her husband, Jayson, and their three children on their hobby farm. Together they share a love of farming, showing animals, and camping throughout Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula.
